Information
Escape the Facility is a gamemode similar to the game Dead By Daylight, or the roblox game Flee the Facility.
There are two teams, the Fugitives & the Wardens. The Fugitives must escape the facility before the Wardens kill them all, or the timer runs out.
There are a certain amount of terminals per game depending on the amount of players in the lobby. The Fugitives must hack all of the terminals to unlock the exits. There are a certain amount of exits per map (Warden Count + 1), these exits are only able to be hacked after all terminals are hacked.
There are three states to a terminal:
- Blue: Available to hack.
- Red: Previously Hacked but somebody failed a skill check, can still be hacked by pressing pet.
- Green: Already completed, cannot be hacked.
Throughout the game, you will see arrows on your name. This indicates two things:
- Red Arrow: A computer was failed, you can go to the arrow to find the failed computer.
- Blue Arrow: A player was captured, you can go to the arrow to save the person.
Fugitive Information
As a Fugitive, you need to hack terminals around the map using your pet button once. While hacking, there will be skill checks that will be indicated when you see a yellow terminal.. when the terminal turns purple, click the vanish button.
While hacking terminals, you will see a progress bar above your head. If you exit a terminal before it is finished, the progress will be saved for when you or someone else comes back to it.
When someone is captured by the beast, they will have a short period where they can be saved. To save a trapped fugitive, go to the vent which they are trapped in and vent in it. It should then let them out of the vent.
- If that player is trapped again then the timer will resume from where it was at previously.
After all terminals are hacked, you will have to find an exit around the map and open it to escape. If you see one exit, there is usually another one located on the exact opposite side of the map.
To open an exit, use your pet button once near it; it will then be unlocked for anyone to use. To go through the exit, just walk into it.
After escaping, you will spectate the game (you will appear as alive, but you are hidden from everyone).
Warden Information
As a Warden, your job is to trap and eliminate the Fugitives around the map before they can escape. If you find a Fugitive, you can use your pet button on them to down them. While downed, they will walk slower for a short period. You can then use your kill button again to drag them. The warden can only drag one fugitive as a time.
While a Fugitive is being dragged, you can bring them to a vent and stand on it for a few seconds in order to trap them in that vent. While trapped, a timer will begin, and if the timer runs out, the Fugitive will die.
There is a variation of the Warden called the Runner, where you can use your Vanish button to gain a short speed boost.
