Installation

Note: You have to be on AU Version 16.0.5 (2025.04.20) for the mod to work.

The latest PL version is 1.2.0, you can find it here.

Note: You must be on AU version 16.0.5 (2025.04.20) on either Steam, Epic, or Itch.io, any other platform is deemed unsupported.

Note: You cannot DOWNLOAD mods on mobile, you can however play this mod via a PC player’s lobby if you’re on mobile.

1. Download the Latest Version of Project: Lotus here.

• Note: Make sure to NOT download the Source Code, download (x) instead.

2. Once downloaded, open the ZIP file. Inside you should see the following folder structure.

• 2.5: If you’re missing any of the files, it’s possible you either..
  • Downloaded the Wrong Thing (make sure you didn’t download the source code!)
  • Or, your Anti-Virus deleted some of the files (this is a known issue)

3. Copy all of the items inside to either your existing Among Us Folder, or copy both your Among Us files & Lotus Files to a new folder (Steam Only)
4. If everything works correctly, you should be able to start the Among Us.exe file in that folder and your game will load Project: Lotus!

Common Errors

If you can’t then this is here for you to self diagnose the error and try to fix it.

• “Help, my mod doesn’t load!”

  • This could be from a multitude of errors.
    • Check if your Among Us Folder matches the one above in the note.
    • Check your Anti-Virus deleted any of the files which make Lotus Work!
    • Are you on the correct version? See if you’re on a version of Among Us which supports Project: Lotus!
    • Can you provide a log from either /logs/(date).txt or /BepInEx/LogOutput.log? If these don’t exist then your mod isn’t loading at all.

• “Help! I’m getting the error SteamworksAuthFail or Fatal Error: Unable to get Epic Account ID”

  • If you’re on Steam, then..

    • Make sure that the Steam Launcher is open!
    • If it’s open and you’re still getting the error, go to your Among Us folder and make sure steam_appid.txt is in it.
      • If it doesn’t exist, make it and copy 945360 into it then save and retry.
    • If that doesn’t fix it, then join our Discord from above.

  • If you’re on Epic, then..

    • Make sure that you’re launching the game from the Epic Games Launcher!
    • If you are, and it isn’t working, then maybe Epic Games is having maintenance
    • If that doesn’t fix it, then join our Discord from above.
